Master (Black) Money Monger

The devil always shows a way out from something upright. It must do that to earn that name. While many with black money would be devastated if the currency they hoard is banned, there are stories that may come up that will show the true nature and the power of the satan. The human soul would be deceived to perceive the thought that a god has shown them the way out of a difficult situation. However, in this case it is the love for money that leads one to think thus.

When the Indian Modi government stealthily banned Rs 1000 and Rs 500 currencies on Nov 8th 2016, many rejoiced that those with black money would now give up the idea of making more of it. However, Naushad was happy. He declared “This is the best time to sell your unwanted property”. Land is of not much use to many these days. Money, however, helps to live in luxury, pomp and show and supposedly in peace of mind. Not many human minds are not equipped to comprehend where these thoughts are implanted into their beings.

“How do you expect people to bring you money when the old currency is no longer valid and the new currency would take time to be available in plenty?” was my obvious wonder and question to him.

What he reveals is both shocking and revealing of an ill-inspired mind. “People have a lot of money – demonetized one at that, money which they cannot take to the banks for exchange without giving the Income Tax departments reasons not to follow up and find with them the sources of it. But what if you offer them something worthwhile like a piece of land in exchange for all the money?” said Naushad proudly.  

“What would you do with money that is no longer valid?” was my next obvious question.

“I have no debit or credit cards, I withdraw money with checks and I do that all the time, running in transaction worth crores. The money I get from purchasers of my land will be huge. I can bargain for that, for I am well positioned to do that in this current situation. This I can deposit showing it as unused money from previous withdrawals. Property that I did not want gets sold at premium value. And I can withdraw new currencies from the bank whenever I wish to and that too all in white.”


Does anyone not understand how the devil buys his men? He has power to take you out of the good destiny the Lord has planned for you. Would you surrender your free will to the Lord and ask him to take you on the paths that He would want us to take. You have the option to choose. You also have the option to loose and that’s not because God wants you to loose but He does not want to enforce His ways on you, but wishes that you identify what’s good for you and you decide that for yourself. That’s what we call love in the Christian world.

The Con and the Conch shell

The recent video on WhatsApp of the peculiar behavior of a conch shell, that finds it way to the surface when buried under a sack of rice grains may make some believe that the conch in itself has magical powers. The idea may not be farfetched as it's used as device to please gods in some of the eastern cultures in religious rituals. Some minds may immediately think that the shape of the conch itself may make the rice grains flow underneath the shell and since the flow must happen from the vicinity of the shell itself this would happen along it's surface and ultimately from it's top thus pushing the shell upward.
