Coffee re-plantation at our farm

As kids when we would visit our home town, we had coffee plants that were old and strong enough to sway two or three of us cousins. In those days perhaps that was the roller coaster experience that we got to enjoy in Kerala. About 5 years back, the entire coffee plantation was felled and new once were allowed to grow. That however, changed the world for my kids. By the time the new coffee plants are old enough to be climbed upon, my kids would perhaps be grown to an extent where they would no more fancy climbing on them. They would miss all the fun. That said, it makes their world a lot different from ours. We had berries to pick, they have their choice of iPads or android devices. We had wells to fetch water for drinking and bathing, they have sprinklers to wash. We got to see a lot of old thick woods in our time as could be found in forests now, they get to see only plantations. The brains for these new guys perceive things much differently. Pigeon nest - an art of perfection

The male pigeon continues to build the nest for it's female partner even when she is resting on it. Looks like they impress the female by making them comfortable where they are. This also tells us how the nests seem to form a perfect shape.
